"Steer Clear!"
*Delayed Update* After bombarding them with a bunch of frustrated WhatsApp messages, they finally got back to me saying they’ve processed my refund. They come off as all nice and friendly until you hand over your cash; once they have it, you’ll be left hanging.
Their site mentions a £250 security deposit that’s supposed to be adjusted later and fully refunded when I vacate. I checked with my accommodation provider, and they said they don’t do security deposits. They even reached out to Unilodgers about this, but nothing has changed. I forked out a whole £250 for nothing, and these folks are NEVER responding to my emails or WhatsApp messages.

"Items Not Received"
In December, I purchased two lots, one of which was a Nintendo Switch game, but it turned out to be just an empty box. Apparently, since I didn’t get an appraisal, there’s no way to follow up on this. I think according to the trade description act, it should’ve been labeled as a box. I also ordered another lot that was supposed to have two items, but only one showed up. I’ve sent emails, made calls, and even talked to a lady named Autumn who asked for my bank details. I provided everything, but I haven’t heard a peep back. I’ve had good experiences in the past, but this time it’s been really disappointing.

"Terrible Experience with This Company"
I was the top bidder on an item that didn’t hit its reserve price. After getting an automated email, I reached out to the auction but got no response. A week later, the item was listed again, and I was the highest bidder once more. I messaged the seller but heard nothing back. The item again didn’t meet the reserve, so I emailed again, but still no reply. On January 8, 2023, I finally got contacted on the 16th, asking which auction I was referring to. Clearly, this isn’t a company worth dealing with. They don’t seem to care about customer service or relationships. Do yourself a favor and spend your cash elsewhere.

"They’re just a bunch of heartless crooks..."
Honestly, they’re just a bunch of heartless crooks. Especially that Stephen guy, he swiped 700 pounds from my brother, and now my brother’s in the hospital with a heart attack. He took the cash and sent over three items that don’t work at all, and he won’t even give back the money.

"You never know if what you get is even usable"
I purchased a bunch of items. Everything arrived in good shape except for one that was totally wrecked; not just broken but completely beyond repair. They tried to blame me for not asking for an appraisal. It's pretty disappointing since I've shopped at other similar auction houses without any problems like this. Seriously, steer clear unless you want to risk getting something damaged. I wouldn't go back after this first experience. Total letdown, boo hiss. Feels like they're intentionally selling stuff that's not fixable, basically just pricey trash, haha.

"Avoid This Service - It's a Nightmare"
I won some items in an auction and paid right away using the link they sent. After 15 days and 83 phone calls (which they never pick up), my stuff still hasn't shown up. Today, I got an email asking for my bank details to process a refund for the invoice. Normally, you'd expect an email confirming that the item was sent out, but I received nada. I'm definitely steering clear of these folks—customer service is just appalling.
I did get a response from international auctions saying they'd get back to me the next day. Well, here I am, two days later, still waiting. I even shot them another email, but still no word.

"CAUTION: Keep Your Distance!"
CAUTION: Keep Your Distance! Seriously, steer clear of this place; they are total scammers. I ordered three items to kick off a new job: a projector, a microphone, and a Serato controller. Can you believe none of 'em worked? I forked out nearly £700, all my savings, since I hadn’t been working due to health problems. This feels like outright theft! To top it off, after making 48 calls over four days, they finally responded, only for the rep to hang up on me. "Cheers for Global Auctions"
We purchased several lots at this auction for a Special Needs Facility at a nearby secondary school where our daughter is employed, as they provide Art Therapy for some of the children, which is really beneficial. Sadly, the items got lost during shipping. We reached out to IA, and one of their Customer Service reps, Autumn, went above and beyond to track down the items. When that didn’t work out, she gathered a bunch of replacement items instead of just issuing a refund, ensuring the kids would still get the supplies they needed. I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Autumn because the replacement pencils and other items showed up safely today, and we, along with the kids and staff at the school, are absolutely thrilled.

"This company is a total mess"

This company is a total mess. Autumn clearly can't handle the workload, and it's downright rude. They don’t respond to emails or phone calls. When you do manage to get through to ask about your package, you get excuses about being too busy! Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone; it’s just embarrassing.
And Autumn, don’t bother replying because you’re just a waste of time. You messed everything up, and I won’t let that slide.
Don’t mix Autumn with the truth; this is a genuine opinion. You can do whatever you want, but the fact is, you’re not fit for this job. As a customer, I’m not the only one you’ve let down – just look at the other reviews! If you can’t handle this role, maybe it’s time to find a new one!
You can’t even manage to issue a simple invoice, and to top it off, you sent two invoices for different amounts for the same purchase.
In the end, for all the mistakes, no response from Autumn. I got blocked because she didn’t want to do her job. Other auctioneers send parcels right away and reply to emails, but this one just blocks you, which makes you wonder what they’re hiding!
It’s funny how no one ever gets back to you; they just report my opinion as if it’s not valid.
